Thangs.com is revolutionizing 3D design for applications like 3D printing and AR/ VR. Powered by Physna technology, Thangs is the world's largest geometric database for 3D models and is used by hobbyists and enterprises.
At Thangs, I initally led product management and UX design to a new user interface. At launch, I pivoted back into a marketing role and grew the Thangs platfrom to 100,000 users in just 4 months through digital ads, SEO and influencer programs. The success of the launch allowed Physna to raise 2 rounds of funding led by Sequoia Capital and Tiger Capital.
I led the PR push for the launch of Thangs.com and worked with the PR agencies to get placement in TechCrunch, Venturebeat, and Forbes.
I created and managed partnerships with many 3D printing influencers, particularly 3D Printing Nerd. These partnerships included sponsored content and contests.
